Koç University Office of Learning and Teaching (KOLT) was established in November 2009, becoming the first office of its kind in Türkiye. The mission of KOLT is to lead and support the continual development of learning and teaching at KU. Since its foundation in 2009, KOLT has evolved tremendously due to its rigorous efforts and hard work to establish a student-centered learning environment through supporting students, teaching assistants, and faculty members in evidence-based learning and teaching practices and providing expertise for quality enhancement of academic programs at Koç University (KU). KOLT’s local, national and international engagement has increased over the years as the office has been involved in partnerships, projects, and scholarly work and increased its network and impact in the learning and teaching arena.
